TYPOGRAPHY + PROCESSING

Every typeface has its unique form and personality that set it apart from other typefaces. I play with these unique personalities to create possible new forms out of typography. I wrote a code in processing that allows you to interact with your computer. Depending on which typeface you choose, when a key is pressed, that typographic character is transformed into a symbol while maintaining the integrity of the typeface. The following images are symbols generated with the ‘Zapfino’ typeface from A to Z.
